The College generates targets for students to achieve by the end of KS4.
Since 2017 these targets will be the GCSE grades 1-
At KS3 at each progress report an indication of current attainment against the student's projected target is given. The indication will be whether students are succeeding, exceeding or needing to make improvements against that target grade at that point in their studies. If improvement is needed, appropriate actions will also be given. Student will also have a band indication to reflect their target range (Purple, Pink, Blue, Grey)
At KS4/5 reports show the grade students are currently working at which is evident from recent assessments. The coding of this grade as succeeding, exceeding or improvement reflects how the teacher predicts they will achieve at the end of the course given their current approach.
ADDITIONAL CLASSES AFTER SCHOOL PLUS EASTER AND SUMMER SCHOOLS ARE AVAILABLE TO HELP STUDENTS ACHIEVE THEIR BEST
We expect parents/carers to encourage students to take advantage of these extra classes.
