Our school uniform is designed to present a positive image of our College to both
our local and wider community. All students in years 7 to 11 MUST wear the correct
uniform. UNIFORM IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. In all matters concerning uniform, make up, hairstyles,
hair colour and appearance the Principal’s decision is final.
Students not wearing the correct uniform may be sent home.
Students out of uniform must have a letter of explanation from their parents/carers
COLLEGE SWEATER with Crest from approved supplier. (see below)
TIE. Must be the correct tie for the year group.
SHIRTS. A plain white shirt or blouse with tailored collar, long sleeves with button
cuffs which must be capable of being tucked into trousers or a skirt
TROUSERS. Plain black tailored full length trousers (Boys & Girls) Trousers must
be worn on the waist. No other types of trousers are acceptable. (See below)
SKIRTS.(Girls Only) Must be plain black, no shorter than knee length or longer than
calf length. No tube skirts. Skirts must not be tight fitting or made of a stretchy
elasticated or clingy material. NO SLITS are acceptable.
BELTS. Must be plain black. No patterned or decorated belts.
GIRLS’ TIGHTS. Must be black or neutral in colour.
SHOES. Shoes must be black, have low heals and it must be possible to polish them.
SOCKS. Dark socks only.
COAT. Students should have a dark, waterproof, coat.
Students may not wear:
Canvass, open toed or backless shoes. Boots Trainers (except in PE)
Fancy or decorated clothing including belts
Jeans, leggings, skinny or flared trousers, chinos,combat trousers,
Trousers with rivets or studs, drain pipes or low waisted trousers.
Leather or denim jackets
Hats: except in extreme weather
Tracksuit tops and hooded tops
Other requirements regarding appearance:
HAIR. Must be neat and tidy in a conventional style and of a colour that appears
NO MAKE UP may be worn by any student in Years 7-11 inc. This includes: false eyelashes,
false nails and painted eyebrows, none of which are allowed.
NO JEWELLERY may be worn except for one small stud in each ear. Rings may NOT be
NO BRACELETS & NECKLACES may be worn. (Except Medicare)
NO BODY PIERCING. No visible body piercing is allowed.
All students must have bag for books and kit. Bags must be plain, dark coloured
All the uniform, except shoes, is available to purchase from the two uniform suppliers
Baileys and Proserve. If you choose to purchase your items elsewhere they must
conform to our expectations.Our uniform suppliers are:
