Achievement for All
We are committed to using the latest information technology to support teaching and learning where appropriate. We are a Specialist College in Mathematics and Computing. Through good teaching and challenging opportunities we aim to raise the aspirations and standards of all our students.
We have a culture of hard work and good manners at the College.
We have an awards culture at the College: we believe in rewarding students who work hard and achieve academically and in other ways. Students are rewarded through our epraise online awards system and an established pattern of awards evenings celebrating the achievements of our young people.
Our Post 16 provision and results are good. We offer something for all students no matter what ability. Our best students go on to attend top universities. Parents have been very positive about the College in independently conducted surveys. Positive parental responses to Ofsted were described by the Ofsted team as "exceptional".
We believe in working with and for the community. We are part of the community, we serve the community and the community work closely with us. We work closely with local business, community groups and emergency services. Our College Cadets are trained to assist the emergency services and to work at community events.
Please visit our web site regularly to keep up to date with the latest news. Our locally published newspaper, The Reporter, newsletters and Linx magazine are freely available. Visit our Hall of Fame pages to see just a few of our past students and what they have achieved.
We believe that young people should be given the opportunity to challenge themselves and have sent groups to Everest, Peru, Ben Nevis and more. Our Youth Office runs a wide range of clubs and we have a full time, fully qualified outdoor pursuits manager.
Exmouth Community College is a fully comprehensive academy committed to given the best education and opportunities to ALL of our students. I invite you to explore our news pages and gallery to see some of the exciting things in which the college is involved.

Introduction to the College
The Magnolia Incentive provides support to Exmouth students as they move into Higher Education. We are now trying to build an on line contact data base of ex pupils - not replicating Friends Re-united or Face book! - but as a means of allowing year groups to keep in touch if they wish and allow information about the school to be posted on a central website. The site is now ready, so get your dodgy photos out and register on the site to upload them at
Alternatively you can Email them with your registration details

Exmouth Community College is a friendly, supportive and forward looking school where we set high standards for both students and staff. We expect students to do their best but also that we, as teachers, work as hard as we can for the children in our care.
The College is an exciting and stimulating place where Sport, Music, the Classics and Art thrive. Ofsted rated our P.E. Dept as outstanding. Our examination results are good and we set high targets for ourselves and our students. Our results at GCSE 5 GCSEs including Maths and English are better than the national average(2014): the College has a pass rate of 64.20% and the national average is 51%.
