Theme 1: Investigating small business - Year 10
Written examination: 1 hour and 30 minutes 50% of the qualification 90 marks.

How is work be assessed?
Exam Board: Edexcel/Pearson.
For GCSE Business, a 100% terminal rule applies. Students will follow this linear course where they will be externally examined in June 2019. There are two papers, each lasting 1½ hours.
What courses can this lead to in Post-16?
You will normally need to achieve grades 5-9 to continue on to A Level. BTEC level 3 courses could also be accessible with GCSE Business Studies.
