Bullying
Bullying, including verbal, physical, electronic and emotional bullying, will not be tolerated. If you believe / know your child is being bullied contact your child’s tutor or Head of Year immediately. The table below may help:
What is bullying?
- Bullying is the deliberate and repeated desire to hurt, threaten or frighten someone
- Bullying can be physical, verbal, emotional, racist, sexist or homophobic.
- Bullying can be 'virtual' – for example using Facebook or texts.
Any student who uses any form of media or spoken word to bully or ridicule other students, or insult or denigrate staff, will face severe disciplinary procedures of the College. This includes, the use of the social media, texts, email and web pages to insult, bully or denigrate a student or member of staff.
Bullying of students or abuse of staff, in any form, will not be tolerated.
