Dear Parents/Carers

Given the high levels of staff absence we have experienced today it is possible that we may have to close the school to some year groups tomorrow if we receive any further notifications of staff absence over the coming hours or, in particular, tomorrow morning. 

We will continue to do everything we can to keep the school open for all year groups since we understand the burden this places on families at home.

No decision has yet been made, however, I wanted to give you as much notice as possible that this could happen tomorrow so you may need to arrange childcare if possible. The year groups that are most likely to be affected are Year 8 and/or Year 9.

We will take a decision as early as possible, either tonight or first thing in the morning, so please stay up to date with our emails, website, texts and social media.
