Dear Parents and Carers,

During the course of the weekend we have had 3 positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed within year 8.

Due a third case reported this evening in Year 8 we have taken the decision to keep all Year 8 students at home on Monday 14th December whilst we seek further guidance from PHE. All other year groups are expected to be in College as normal, unless advice to self-isolate has been given.

For the Year 8 students remaining at home, there will be remote learning in place and they should log on to Teams and check their emails at their lesson times.

Once we have an update from PHE we will then be in touch again with further information.

We understand that this may cause anxieties within our college community. Please be assured we will keep all staff, students, parents and carers updated as soon as we have more information. We have to follow guidance from PHE and The DfE.
